Master Certificate in Physician Recruitment and Retention (MCPRR)

If you are a graduate of the Certified Medical Staff Recruiter (CMSR) certification program, and have furthered your career through experience and education, then the Master Certificate in Physician Recruitment and Retention certification is for you.

Many of our graduating members of the CMSR have asked us to generate a course for superior credentialing to prove that they have furthered their career through experience and education. As many AAMM members have attended multiple training programs and received CMSR certification, we are now offering the MCPRR credential to those meeting the requirements below.

The credential that is good for 3 years and can be renewed by updating one’s professional and continuing education file. If you meet the credentialing requirements below, then don’t delay, this certificate is perfect for you!

1. Active CMSR certification, via Option Two (with exam).

2. Physician Recruitment Intensive Training attendance with Certificate of Completion (5 days/32 hours).

3. Choice of two of the following two-day or five-day seminars with Certificate of Completion (2 days/14 hours each or 5 days/32 hours each).

4. Choose two of these Recruitment, Retention or Management Seminars:
· Physician Compensation & Productivity (2 days)
· Advanced Physician Retention/Relations (2 days)
· Physician Employment Networks (2 days)
· Physician Recruitment Legal Issues, Contracts & Policies (2 days)
· Practice Management Boot Camp
· Practice Management Intensive Training (5 days)
· Executive Academy for Practice Administrators (5 days)
· See the AAMM website throughout the year for additional seminars
· AAMM seminars on DVD with test questions may also qualify
· AAMM in-house/on-site seminars may also qualify

5. Current employment in one or more areas of physician recruitment and/or retention. Retention is broadly defined to include contracts, compensation, practice start-up, practice management, physician relations, etc.

6. Preparation of a resume of qualifying experience (minimum of four years experience at time of application).

7. Completion of the Official Certification Application and supporting documentation (Go to www.AAMMweb.com/credentials).

8. Current and ongoing membership in The American Academy of Medical Management.
